CSA stands for community-supported agriculture. It is one of the most direct ways that community members can support local farmers.
Membership in a CSA is a commitment to support a farm for the entire year in exchange for the bounty of the farm's produce.

How does our CSA work?

Our CSA is a collaboration between Reconnecting Roots Farm, Midgarden Farm, and River Raven Herbs
-- we will be working together to grow the produce and herbal products in this year's CSA.
When you become a member of our CSA you will receive the following:
• A weekly box of 5-7 fresh veggies and herbs with the occasional herbal tea or tincture.
• A weekly newsletter with highlights from the farm and recipe ideas.
• Access to add-ons such as fresh eggs, pork shares, herbal teas, and cut flowers.
• Discounts and promotions for farm events and activities.
Members can choose from four locations to pick up their boxes:
• Arlington (on the farm)
• Seattle (Greenwood)
• Everett
• Shoreline
Boxes will be available for pickup on Thursdays between 3 PM and 6 PM.
The CSA membership runs for 16 weeks, starting June 11th and ending October 1st, with no pickup on July 2nd.
Membership for the season is regularly priced at $615.
We also offer the option to pay in 3 installments of $215.

Terms and Conditions
Dates:
The CSA season will run from June 11th through October 1st with 16 weeks of box pick-ups. There will be no box on July 2nd.
Pickup Time and Location:
CSA members will have 4 options for picking up weekly produce boxes; on the farm in Arlington, in Everett, in Shoreline or in Seattle.
Pickup will be Thursdays between 3 PM and 6 PM.
Any boxes left after pick-up times without prior notification will be donated to the Arlington Food Bank.
Membership Pricing:
The regular price of a membership for the 16-week season is $615 dollars.
If you elect to pay in installments, three installments payments of $215 are available.
Box Contents:
Each week members' boxes will contain 5-7 freshly harvested items. Periodically throughout the season herbal teas and tinctures will be included along with fresh produce.
Risks and Rewards of CSA membership:
We are committed to providing our CSA members a wide variety of the healthiest and most flavorful produce possible throughout the season.
However, farming and our harvests are at the whim of nature. Weather, pests, diseases, and other unforeseen events can have impacts on production and harvest on the farm and can affect what we deliver in our boxes each week.
On the other hand, extra harvests from bumper crops or good growing conditions will be passed on to our CSA members.
By becoming a CSA member you are agreeing to share in the risks and rewards of farming and supporting the community through the highs and lows that come from growing fresh, local food.

The best way to communicate with us is via email. Our email is farmsatrootednwcsa@gmail.com
We will send communications via email, including weekly availability, newsletters and information about other events on the farm.
