At River Raven Herbs we ethically, sustainably and organically farm, re-wild and bring to market high-quality, hand-crafted herbs and herbal products with an emphasis on local and at-risk plants. We do this to reduce the distance herbs have to travel, to educate our community about traditional uses, equity, habitat and properties, and to ensure, the plants, their beauty and their wisdom will be accessible for generations to come.

All our plants are grown from certified organic seeds or untreated starts on land slated for organic certification, without the input of chemical pesticides or fertilizers, using regenerative growing methods.

Rewilding

Some plants we grow simply because they belong here and are at risk due to overharvesting or habitat loss. We started a small Blue Camas prairie (pictured here), which once was the second-most traded food besides salmon for many Salish People — come in May and see! We reintroduced Devil’s Club and Trillium to our woodland, where we also tend patches of Oregon Grape, Salal, and Bleeding Heart under majestic cedars.
